The Light House, Ogston Reservoir
Directions to The Light House, 2 Reservoir Houses, Ogston, DE55 6EL
From the A61 at Stretton (between Clay Cross & Alfreton), take the turn by the White Bear Pub signposted Tansley/ Ashover & Matlock.
Take the first left also signposted Tansley/ Ashover & Matlock. If you have a sat nav it may direct you to Crow Lane immediately on your left, but this is an unmade up gated road: ignore it!
Take the next left at the bottom of the hill (South Hill Lane). This runs the entire length of the reservoir. It is a single track road, but there are passing places.
At the end of the lane you pass between some stone walls, then take the right hand fork towards Ford Lodge (the property with lanterns outside).
As soon as you’ve passed Ford Lodge, take the next right up a shared drive. Our house is the first on the left (with the double garage). If you reach the Seven Trent buildings you have missed the driveway turning.
